Wrong forum but this will hopefully get more response.
Anyway some pictures from my Digital camera got deleted and I need them back. I have downloaded recovery software but none of it works unless your camera/card acts as a seperate drive (like Removable Drive F:\) or something. Now what I'd like is either:
Ideas on how to change the camera to appear as a seperate drive and not a USB upload
Or software that can work without need the camera to appear on a drive.

I have downloaded about 4 types and nothing works.
If you can help me thanks, and I'll also give you my vote in the notable election for evermore.

Depending on how much you need them there are places you can send your card to recover your files - at a cost though.

Do as Tim says though and get a card reader to see if that works.

just out of interest what software are you using - might be able to suggest something better.

You need to remove the memory card from your camera and plug it into a card reader, something like this: http://specialreserve.co.uk/USB_20_External_3012_r.html

I can't guarantee this'll work but your card will appear in My computer as a removable drive.
