I recommend using Ableton Live, put you tunes through that.
Not a bad seqencer too.
They both do pretty much the same thing.

I use a midi keyboard with it and that's about it. I find making entire compositions on Reason to be a lengthy process so I use it to create loops and then create a song/tune in Making Waves with those loops as it's easier and you get positive results quicker.
Works a dream.
I like the way you can really crunch things up on Reason. I under-use it though because Making Waves is much easier to deal with. :)
Though im glad of re-wire, as its sequencer sucks.
Way too long for that piece of garbage.
But ive made better tunes in 5 mintues on Reason.
