IE 6(SP2) Top Nav; Contact is forced below Journal. Probably due to the IE Box Model issue.
Headerf ont sizes are about 100% bigger than in Firefox, fwiw, Firefox looks OK.
min-width doesn't work in IE
There's various other bugs in there;

As for the HTML, first, it doesn't validate. There's a missing close tag on an image preventing the CSS parse tree from validating.

And theres a nested div with no opening div tag?
Going back to your post about HTML text editors, I'd strongly suggest getting a copy of Topstyle Pro at least which will allow you to validate as you go along, as well a throwing a hissy fit if you CSS is poorly formed before you even try saving it.
