Hi,

I've been looking at SR's under £100 graphics card list, and was wondering about a few items there. Out of all the sub £100 cards which is the most powerful there?

Looking outside of SR for a moment, what g-card is the most powerful on the planet under £100?

Is there a sub £100 card substantionally more speedy than a g-force 3 ti200 card?

That's all, thank-Q.

Meh. I get 80-100 on high settings with a ATi Radeon 9600XT (not overclocked since my last, spectacular attempt - *beep* *beep* error :D) on CS:S easy - possibly down to 60 if there are loads of people / lag.

in CS 1.6, I'd say you should really be pusing at least 80-90fps with a GeForce 3.

Ow God. I was advised by some people that it was a very fast and cheap card (100fps in online CS1.6). If it's slower than my g-f3 ti200 (40-50fps in online cs1.6) then there's no point in thinking about it.

Need something very cheap but very solid (much better than current card). I was hoping to spend nomore than 60 pounds infact, and the fx5200 got thumbs up from cs players when I mentioned it. And it sounded twice as fast as my present card.

you'll struggle on low settings with that card.

There's one called 'FX5200' I think, is that a very good card? I always use medium settings in games, so if it's speedy then I'll go for it. It's VERY cheap too.

They are good cards, they won't play crappy old games like Civilization II. Proper games like HL2 and WoW run very sommthly though.
