South?

They must have slipped right in through the back door, because I can't believe I haven't heard them before.

I just listened to one of their songs on a promo disk (Colours In Waves) and I love it. Now they may be one hit wonders, I just don't know, but I can't believe I haven't heard them. Usually I hear most stuff early on and rate it or hate it. It was out 2 years ago (2003).

So anyone heard of them? Comments?

Yes and will do.

I've flogged a couple of my oldies on Amazon marketplace to give me a bit of cash for some new stuff.

Looks like their 1st album is better anyway.
Gonna get one?

Tell me what it's like.

It's happened before. Just they didn't exist at the same time.

Most recent one Blue and Blue?

It's irritating to see that they haven't been advertised as much as other bands. Probably poor management or something. Maybe I can start up the way for them by spreading the word.

Ah, no, it is the same band.

First album - From Here on In.
2nd - With The Tides

I was going to say ... 2 bands, with the same name, in the same kind of music genre?

I was going to say ... didn't seem very much like the cover of the single you said.

I was just going to Amazon to check out their album With The Tides, but iot's very promising to see those lovely ratings. I have to say, from the one song I've heard, their music is nothing like the front cover of the album in your link FFF.

I'd say they're Snow Patrol meet The Dears meet Elbow meet Coldplay. It's pretty hard to define them. Nice stuff. A mellow Kasabian perhaps.

EDIT:

This album cover is more what I pictured:

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
