She was on stage again. The spotlight shone, shone on the only girl i ever liked face, illuminating her angelic features. Her nose was sleek, a perfect shape, not too high, nor too small. This curved perfectly into her lips, the lips i'd want to press against my own, to kiss. Her hair was dark, and it streaked over half of her face, and flowed down to her shoulders.

But the eyes, the eyes. So bright yet so dark, so hidden yet so revealing. So, so perfect. When she stared into my own, a feeling, a feeling so deep, deep and powerful started up in my heart, and flowed through the whole of my body, through my blood. The warmth spread through my arms, down my legs. It then stopped dead in the pit of my stomach, as yet again i found myself knowing that i had no chance.

Again i came out of the theatre and stood by the exit, waiting for her to come out. I could talk to her, that was fine, but we were just friends. That was all. Friends.
"Hey, nice dance" i called as i saw her come out of her dressing room down the hallway.
"Thanks" she called back.
I walked over.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeh, fine, you?"
"Yeh..."
"Yeh, okay, i gotta go, see ya"
She gave me a slightly rushed hug, and ran off to join a clump off other, older boys, one of whom she gave a small peck on the cheek. I was left standing under the exit, alone. It started to rain.

Typical, typical. I dont know why she doesnt like me. Is it because i have glasses? Is it cos i dont get many detentions? Gawd, does she only like rude boys? Or does she just not like me? Just, just not like me...

Yeah, a bit clichéd here and there, especially when it just happened to start raining.

You capture the feeling well, as far as I can remember. It was a little clichéd, but hey, they wouldn't be clichés if there wasn't some truth to them, would they?

I know the feeling. I'm so many girl's friends now, but none of them want to take it that next level.

Upsetting.
