So that's why there isn't a result for this God-forsaken town then: all that counting wore them out.

Finally in after a third recount:

Labour 41.4%
Conservative 41.2%
Liberal Democrat 12.6%

I counted votes at the Sports Centre once, must have been back in 1997. I got paid £50 and had to stay until 5 in the morning. It was crap, and did hurt my fingers. And you weren't allowed to talk to anyone.
