Really looking forward to seeing them remade, The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe was probably my favourite book growing up and of what i've seen it looks great. Bit unsure of something i read this morning though in The Sun, having read all 7 books i know that TLTW&TW wasn't the first in the series but is apparently the first to be made.

They were all written out in the wrong order, if I remember rightly.
But the proper, chronological order goes:

The Magician's Nephew
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Horse and his Boy
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

That TV series was amazing - like, the best thing ever.
Stupid posh kids ... and totally rubbish CGI stuff (big black lines around everything) though pretty decent for the time and a TV series ... and Aslan still kicked ass ... and they all got their weapons and it was like 'omg!1 r0>
The books are all excellent little tales, if a little outdated now and painfully Christian. Yummu.

I remember the odl versions from first school.

And the books are absolute genius. It should be compulsary that all children aged 7-10 must read them annually. (though, saying that, I think I only ever read 2/3 of them)

You mean the Hitchhiker which had a girl being ripped in half?

Looking forward to this. S'got that creepy woman from Constantine [as Gabriel] as the Snow Queen. [i think..]

Yeah but Hitchhiker was done by Disney (or a branch of it) as was Pirates of the Caribbean.
