I know it's not "general" as such, but general can be anything so it doesn't matter. Not up for an indepth conversation about it anyway, just finding out if anyone else happens to have an account there. If people don't know what the site is, it's basically a place to showcase art, writing etc. with loads of other people.

You could probably create something similar using Photoshop, my favourite artist listed on Deviantart is someone called ekaF or Fake who is part of a group called Depthcore. A lot of his work doesn't actually involve a 3d program but he instead uses vectors and photos to create similar effects.

Might have a go then with Bryce. Always wondered because you see them around a lot and they're beautiful, but only ever found brushes for them. Very sharp looking, too. Great for a desktop background.

Mmuh, gotta open Photoshop now! ;)

What is it?

Thats made using a program called bryce, basically it's a 3d program designed for creating landscapes but can be used to create "abstract" 3d art which at one point I was heavily into. It's pretty much looked down upon due to the random nature of creating something in it, but you can get good results.

With this: [URL]http://www.deviantart.com/view/4148641/[/URL]. Is that created from scratch or did you use a brush? Always curious about making those [no idea what they're called..] because they're so.. shiny! And the shapes are amazing.
Photoshop is perfect for making people look dead too. And more alive..
Also, I really like Everything Ends. Colours look perfect.

Pretty much all of that is stock photography but has been manipulated a hell of a lot as it's in relation to what I can do in Photoshop and not with a camera. I'm studying photography at the moment and I have a lot of work to upload but I'm just waiting until my course ends.
