Just watched the highlights of the Spurs match on Goals on Sunday (on Monday...) and they showed a different angle of the Kanoute goal, and its clear handball. He controls it with his arm. This makes that first Spurs goal even more jammey, considering it should have been a penalty to Villa after Edman clearly didn't get the ball, and Kanoute scuffed up an easy finish, luckily scoring.

Yeah, well. Who else thought it was handball?

If a player needs to dive to get a penalty then they don't deserve it, they just deserve a slap.

Yes, but he was put well off balance. If you were to award penalties based on your thinking then about 20% of them probably wouldn't be given.
