Well after complaining about an unreliable connection, and them just telling me to check my filters (which i knew there was nothing wrong with) my internet speed has more than quadrupled. Previously on 256Kbs, my net monitor is reporting speeds of over 1000Kbs though I am yet to test how stable this connection is, as I have not been able to stream or download anything yet. Is this just a freak occurance or can you see it staying like this?

All done, 2 days max.

No upgrade charge. £16 for 512K broadband and no limit. All the new customers with that package have 30Gb limits. :D Just upgrading now...

Just checked Tiscali's site they're offering an upgrade to 512K for the same price I pay now. Should I upgrade my package now? Or should I wait and see what they do first?

I had that on Live, it was caused by spyware.

Well it was good for 10 or so days. Back down to 300K again. Noticed something was happening last night whilst playing CS:S, my ping was really fluctuating...

As I mentioned about my mate, he had it for about 3 months, before he decided to upgrade anyway :S

It'll last for a month probably.
They probably reset to make sure this isnt happening.

Still 2megs. Do you think they'll realise eventually? The same happened to my mate. He was paying for 256K but he had 512K and this was before any of the upgrades.

Tiscali are the biggest pile of shi'ite ever.
