will Halo 2 be worth buying even if I dont have my xbox online?

I'm buying it and I have a live subscription. The problem arises in the fact I dont have internet access in my halls of residence grrrrr

there is a single player in halo2 you know?
also, you can play multiplayer offline with friends.
