leeds spent about £100 mil and can't even win the first div! (lol only joking)

I sincerely hope you didn't mean S'Alex.....
He can't even win the league with Man United....
:P
But my point was that Mourinho is very much in a minority. There are probably about 5 managers in the world who could have achieved what he did over that 2 year period of success in Europe with Porto.
And then, maybe even Ferguson, Capello, and other great managers might not even have been able to do it.

Alex
Exactly.
He is clearly a talented man who knows how to construct a team and make it gel quickly, but he is not the most talented. Look at Kevin Blackwell at Leeds United, here is a man who had 5 players at the beginning of the season with 3 of them on long term injuries. He managed to stabalise Leeds, make them difficult to beat and there wasn't even a remote risk of relegation.
That is a manager that did an almost impossible task.
Give him £100 million and a premiership team and I'd bet my foot he'd win it.
Mourinho and Terry have co-ordinated a superbly composed Chelsea this season, and deserve credit for it.
Everyone knows he is a genius, but this sort of thing is what separates his from the others.
He is not just one from the bottle.
That statement just takes the pish.
