If it had nothing to do with the LOTR story, yet was in Middle-Earth (a la KOTOR)...and was made by Black Isle or somebody, I'd be playing it now.

Looks OK from what I've seen but I'd have to read some reviews before I even consider buying.

The reviews aren't looking too promising.

IGN gave it 8.4, but then most magazines/sites I've read have only given 5-6/10.

So, not looking to amazing.

I'll get it...

what did ign say was good about them. I trust ign's reviews most of the time.

IGN spent 90% of the review pointing out all the game's flaws then awarded it a high mark for still being a good game.

Looks like they're back on form then.

the fact of the matter is at least ign do point out that the game can still be immense fun even with some of the flaws. Thats how I saw it anyways.
