I've recently aquired 2 JBL GT4 12 inch subs with 4 ohm voice coil. is it safe for me to use my 3000W amp to power the two at 1000W each @4 ohms?
it's for my car in a twin sealed sub box as per requirements.

I've only had 2 10 inch subs, which I now realised wasnt bridged running a 200W each, still, it sounded good!

should know better really, dont know if the power can peak higher than that and blow the two up!

thankies!
