To be honest, I have so many cruiseriweghts (especially after that last round) that I see no reason to push some of the more over guys to the main event.

I see your point...I could see a good WWE Tile match with Cena Vs Mysterio because Cena is not a huge monster like Show or Lesnar

If the credibility really is such an issue, you don't book Mysterio against Show, to protect the pair of them. Just as you wouldn't book Mysterio against Lesnar, for example - book him against people who could sell like Mysterio is giving them a beating (angle, Guerrero, Benoit etc).

Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho could all be claimed as being Cruisers who held the belt, but if you mean guys making their names as Cruisers winning then no, there haven't been many, but then I haven't been booking anywhere to do so.

Austin Aries (about 170lbs) beat Samoa Joe (about 270) in Ring of Honor lately for their World title, though, and the arena went absolutely crazy for it, so the idea's far from being entirely without merit.

Is having a big upset unrealistic? I don't think it's that unrealistic, to be honest: you see them in legit sports, and in wrestling from time to time. And it's not as though I'd push him as unbeatable, quite the opposite. A big, heavy-breathing lummox could feasibly be beaten by a faster and better-trained Cruiser, and Mysterio, as I said, would give the belt a new lease of life, if only briefly.

Its just they never make Mysterio completely flop (as far as i know) even though he is one of the smallest men wrestling.

His match against JBL i thought was going to be totally rubbish, but it was "watchable"

I would like to see what they would come up with if they did have a David Vs Goliath (sp?) with Rey Vs Show.
