I'm having a few problems with my connection just now, as in it keeps freezing and get's incredibly slow at times. I still have a dial-up connection as I'm not on the net enough to justify the cost of Broadband, but I would like a decent connection for when I am on here. So does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can sort it out? Ta.

The new Mircosoft Antispyware BETA is meant to be quite good, and a free download.

Still crap, I've scanned it and tried re-dialing a few times but it's making no difference. Think I'll just contact BT and get them to sort it, after-all, it's thier service so they should ensure it's decent.

I've noticed that sometimes you have to dial in a second time to get a smoother connection.

Has happened to me on several computer in different locations.

Spybot Search and Destroy is good, too - for adware and spyware.

I already have ad-aware installed and I do scan my PC often, but it still doesn't seem to help much. But thanks anyway.
