A very good book though, but BNW is better (in my opinion).

Exactly why I read 1984 every few months. My favorite book of all time. The why is unwritten, and leaves you searching for more.
Huxley was a mescalin user :)

Well, Brave New World and 1984 are oft compared. I'm preferring BNW so far, but then again, I've always though 1984 pales in comparison to Animal Farm.

I apologiise I tried to get it working but the damn newbie I am( despite being on these forums for about 2 years) dont really know how to work it. Try this one:

How would that be ruining it?
Zoos are the best places ever. Everytime I'm in Switzerland the first thing I say is "Lets go back to Basle Zoo!!", and that's probably what I'd do in America.

Excellent book.
If you read the part of 1984 where Winston is reading Goldsteins book and apply it to Brave New World you can see how the hierarchial sp? structure of both are exactly the same in both books. (That sounded slightly geekish).
Huxleys Utopia/Dystopia seems nicer than Orwells - lots of Soma related sh@gs.
