- Rene Dupree has been taken off television to be repackaged.

About time too, he's been stale for months.

- Ted DiBiase has started his 90-day try out with WWE.

Woo, please sign Ted, Vince, he's still one of the best guys on the mic and surely should be a prime candidate to manage a stable?

- Former Tough Enough competitor Marty Wright, 41, has signed a three year developmental deal with WWE.

Learned nothing from Rico then...

- Jake Roberts has signed the standard $10,000 WWE contract for future marketing.

I'm all for this move, Jake is actually pretty useless to the WWE in the ring or on the mic, but Vince certainly owes him a lot and the guy is paying for a hip replacement...

- J.T. Smith, formerly of ECW, has agreed to be appear at WWE's 6/12 ECW PPV

YAY! FBI!!! "Where's my pizza?!?"

Terry Funk and CW Anderson have also signed up for the night.

- Marty Jannetty is scheduled to start with WWE in May.

Ah right thought you were talking about the other guy as i'm sure i saw someone else make that mistake.

But you never know 40 isn't exactly past the hill in wrestling, didn't DDP get into it when he was like 37 or something

I've heard that Ted Dibiase was only back as a consultant to give an old schoolers opinion on things.

He did beat Generic Jobber #38780 on Velocity a few weeks back. I only remember because it was then that I discovered he does have a finishing move...'The Dupree Driver' (think the Michinoku driver if it was delivered sloppily, in slow motion and looking as though it wouldn't hurt a 5 year old...)

Pfft, it didn't help Renee that as soon as he came over to SmackDown he became John Cena's little b!tch.

In fact no, he became everybody's little b!tch.

I'm a little pertubed as to how he and Kenzo were WWE Tag Team Champions when I don't actually remember Renee ever winning a match?

Yep. The point I'm making is that you can't break a guy into the big time once he's passed a certain age.

You do know Marty Wright is that black guy who lied about his age and got kicked off the show and not the one who hurt his arm but carried on anyway earning respect from Al Snow etc right?

He can do a mean promo don't know about his wrestling ability though
