Just before you all jump on me and say someones been reading one of the PS mags,I did get some of the info from PSM2 .
The UK version of the PS2 will only play region 2 coded DVD's,Some people say it can also play region 1 discs with a cheat but this is only true with the Japanese consoles.
A Memory card sized component has just been released in Japan which will break through all 6 DVD region codes so you can play any DVD bought from anyway in the world, Hopefully it'll be sold over here.
