In 1978 a Pope died, Wales won the Grand Slam, Liverpool were beaten in the League Cup Final by Nottingham Forest (who went on to win the English league) and Liverpool won the Champions League.
This year a Pope has died, Wales have won a Grand Slam and Liverpool have been beaten by Chelsea in the League Cup final (with Chelsea pretty much confirmed Premiership champions). 3 out of 4 so far... all that is required is a Champions League victory for Liverpool.

Not if Arsenal keep up their recent form it won't be Newcastle's though I'd appreciate it if Newcastle did kick out Man U, and make the job simpler for us
