This game's really caught me off guard, I wasn't expecting much from the single player but it's actually really good. The levels are a lot more varied so even if there are a few repetetive textures or repeated rooms, I haven't really noticed them.
The 2nd Mombasa level is awesome...actually so's the first one come to think of it. Shooting all those ghosts on the beach and then taking down that robot thing was superb. For me those are the types of set pieces which were really missing from the first game.
Anyway I love it, oh and online it's the absoloute dogs nuts. I always found it funny when Bungie went on about how they're trying ot make the online experience similiar to the feeling you get when your mates come over for some gaming, but strangely enough I think they've actually pulled it off really well. The couch thing is inspired, I just hope they manage to speed up the wait while it finds a game.
Oh and battering people to death with the end of the flag pole in capture the flag is genius!
