What do they do? They enable people to make their own games. I'm sure I wasn't alone when I was younger wanting to make my own games - it was my dream. These pieces of software have to be the most used products I have bought in my life. I got a Klik & Play demo and was hooked so I bought that. After getting used to the software through tutorials and finding other people's games online, tearing them open and learning from their programming I made so many games. Then when The Games Factory came out I bought that and unlike Klik and Play I could make games that scroll. I have been using these pieces of software for like 4 years!! They have so much replay value as the games you can make with them is almost endless! You can make games that rival Mega Drive and SNES games however there are restrictions such as 2D games and certain other things. I heard about MMF and got that although a bit more confusing it made the possibilities even greater.
The childhood fantasy of not being able to make a game myself is now in the past and my creative mind has been set free. I was wondering why Special Reserve don't sell these products - they are so easy to use and great for the creative mind like myself. I'm sure other people would enjoy it as much as me - all you need is lateral thinking and an imagination.

Corse you can...
C Is a sequential language
C++ is an object orientated version of C...
There pretty much exactly the same langue structually...
You can write games in any programming language...

With so many differnt types of basic around things do get kinda messy...
I think theres a Dark Basic demo on the front cover of some mag or another (which should mean theres also a demo to download somewhere on the net)
Although, from the screenshots in the lastest SR mag, its looks pretty good... lots of 3D games (racers, shooters, etc)... And apparently it runs 'almost the speed of compiled C... which I would presume to be the same speed as compiled Java?)
I tried Div but that was too confusing to program.

Havnt got a clue mate... sorry... Just saw it written next to DarkBASIC... and thought that was the sort of thing you were after?
I tried Div but that was too confusing to program. I'm happy with these bits of software for the time being :)
Although... I think Dark Basic has this function as well?
Also... theres 'DIV' games creator which does that kinda stuff...
No need for long lines of code for just one action
