Well not me personally but the horse my father put a bet on for me did.

Each year my parents put a small bet under a fiver normally on any horse myself and my 2 brothers pick each. I could have don't it myself but i don't want to go to the bookies and pretend to know what i am doing.
This year my dad asked me and i had a quick look on the net and chose Hedgehunter.
He did only put £2.50 on for me even though after i found out i had won i tried to convince him that i had asked him to put £100 on and he had lost me lost of money. :) but i got £20 for it so i was happy.

I didn't put any money on at all. But I doubt I would have put in on the favourite. So technically I'm up a fiver.
I won £10. Just put £1 down (I'm unemployed) but had 10/1 before he started to become the favourite and it dropped to 7/1.
Some jammy sod here at work won £52,000.
