That's because it was the Grand National Today, pretty exciting too. There was roughly 20 horses, out of the 30 - 40, who made it to the end.
The harshest thing was the jockey in the green and yeallow who was leading for quite a bit, and by a long way, who was knocked off his horse by two riderless horses.
Twas exciting even by previous standards. Oh yeah, first woman jockey ever, placed 5th.
Did anyone watch it?
I was supporting that Red someone-or-other, but not enough to place a bet, the beggar didn't even come in the top 5, tch
