Giddy up horse and other over used jockey expressions
That's because it was the Grand National Today, pretty exciting too. There was roughly 20 horses, out of the 30 - 40, who made it to the end.
The harshest thing was the jockey in the green and yeallow who was leading for quite a bit, and by a long way, who was knocked off his horse by two riderless horses.
Twas exciting even by previous standards. Oh yeah, first woman jockey ever, placed 5th.
Did anyone watch it?
I was supporting that Red someone-or-other, but not enough to place a bet, the beggar didn't even come in the top 5, tch

Yup, Rosemary Henderson came 5th in 1994.
They said just after the race that she was the first ranked female jockey ever, didn't hear the one about equalling someone else.
On the BBC they were saying that the woman who came 5th today equalled the record for a woman jockey set in 1994.
