Not sure if the is the right place to post this, but its to do with writing, so I might as well. I have a paper document of 200 or so pages, which happens to be my coursework and so I am not able to separate the sections into plastic wallets, for marking purposes. Nor am I going to put each page in it's own platic wallet. So the question is, for those that have written novels perhaps, what is the best way to present his behemoth of a document? For now its sitting in an old box, which was originally for holding Gloss Photo Paper. Its now outgrown that, so any advice would be nice. Or links to shops that cater for this type of thing.

Cheers
Tom

Yeah just found out, our deadline is next week, then we can make a trip to repro to get it bound. They charge like 20p for the smallest type of binding. Which means it shouldnt be too much more for the larger type.

Yeah i gotta do that for my dissertation, it's a good way of keeping them together and doesn't look too bad. Most printing firms will do it for you but i think they charge a few quid for it.

Worth the money though

Also, check "bulk" office supplies websites, they may have something.

Yeah suppose I could try that. I had a quick look online and saw some 'small' document boxes made out of platic with a front opening flap. They looked like they'd fit my project but I'm gonna make a trip down to officeworld in the near future, and shall have a look there.

What about a lever arch file, and hole punching them all?

Not really an option since it's all been printed out. Also theres a fair few pages of diagrams, code and screenshots so theres only so much minimising I can do.

If I had that many plastic wallets I would. But in the past when I've gone to the trouble of putting each page in a plastic wallet, a teacher has always said, "take it all out - 'cus we cant be bothered to when it comes to marking". And thats what I've spent many lessons doing. I suppose I'll have to keep searching for a larger paper box to shove it in.

Sorry, I can't help you much. The largest document I sent out was 100 odd pages, but publishers/ agents/ TV companies don't want it dressed up at all, just plain pages, in a stack, not even as much as paper-clipped together.

What's the problem with plastic wallets for each page? Stuck in a ring binder it looks fine. That's what I used for course work in the past, but that was more like 50 pages.
