Just wondering if any of you guys are fans of Studio Ghibli. Are any of you on the Nausicaa mailing list? [URL]http://www.nausicaa.net[/URL] Which one is your favourite? I like Whisper of the Heart the most. I personally think Studio Ghibli is the greatest animation studio in the world.
I was told it was the new Disney though. To me it was just Manga without the tentacle sex and school girls with short skirts.

Though I saw Castle of Cagliostro a long time ago and really enjoyed that.

Fantastic movie. I love all of them I've seen so far, though. There's something magical about it all. My daughter will grow up with Totoro among her influences as well...

I think pretty much every Ghibli film rules. I think it'd be a tough choice to decide on a favourite as the likes of Spirited Away, Kiki, Totoro, Castle in the Sky and Mononoke are all so awesome.

Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind i thought was a great film that i enjoyed alot infact i might purchase it tomorrow/later today as my student loan just came in.
Princess Mononoke was very well done and the story was great. Will probably be purchased at the same time. :D

I've just seen Princess Monoke and Spirited Away, thought they were both very good. The detail and humour in them both were great. What're the latest films they're doing coming out?
I like Laputa, I saw The Cat Returns recently and although it was really good, it was a little disappointing, there wasnt much of a story. But still a nice film, more of a direct to video or TV movie and not full length feature.
