Has anybody got this DVD player? If so, my dad wants to know whether it is possible to copy DVD films to VHS video tapes with this player.

First press STOP
press SETUP
then MUTE
then LAST
then NEXT
this will bring you to the REGION SELECT / MACROVISION OFF screen.

Make sure that MACROVISION is OFF
