Cats are pretty amusing. Especially Cats Called Dennis. I believe he's named after Dennis who was a little rascal. He once trod in Mr. WIlson's flower bed in a two part episode
There is a wide line between cat racing and cat kicking. A combination of both would be both harsh and funny.
Or a spiky fence avec razor wire.
Plus they land on their feet all the time, so they don't get injured! Unless there's a chair or a wall in the way...
Mwuha. Cat's are just the right size and shape for it too. And they feel nice and cosy on your foot.

I managed to launch my cat about 5 meters through the air once, 'twas a good flick.
