So what's the deal with this, it's not a crime because nothing physical was stolen?
Live and learn.
Even if the guy bought that sword, he bought it 3rd party and then once the money had been exchanged, the guy gave him the sword in the game.
So through the virtual game, there has been no official purchasing of products.
So no there is no ownership over items.
So if he gave the sword to someone to borrow, essentially, they gave it to someone else, and got money 3rd party.
So officially in the game it was given from one person, to another, then to another for free.
No stealing envolved.
So the only crime was the murder.
(That's just my idea)

If any of these are stolen from me, I will go Max Payne on your ass.
However, I don't actually own any of these things yet.

What a waste of police resources
These people that get so tied up in a game it's stupid, the losers that will pay money for a weapon or item need some help.
