"Help please"

I don't have any programs on my computer with spelling and grammer checks and I'm trying to wrtie a short story. I have "Notepad", but I don't think that has either of those things on it.

Can't install Word due to the CD not working.
Does anyone know of anything that may help me.

Waits for some smart-ass to say "an education"

Or just write it in hotmail, and use the spellcheck there and copy it across.

Or ... imagine this ... you could pick up a dictionary! and use it

Yeah, I had two SR windows open. One to write the story in and the other to browse.

It should have spellcheck.

You could also try Outlook Express if you've got that. No doubt that'll also have the American spellchecker too, though.

You could just get a trial version of either Office or Word. It's a short-term solution.
