Ignoring the subject matter for a minute, it actually looks like a pretty good user interface. No doubt it'll be ported to ipod Touch and iPhone soon enough!
To me, this looks like a step up from Wikipedia if it's all web based, a mix of those digital encyclopedias and a Wiki site.
