Mine is right wing back because i think it is a great attcking role from a defensive position and from the was that football has developed it is quite a rare role, but teams that use it usually play exciting football due to the attacking momentum. What is your fave position?

Central midfield for me. You have to track back when your team is on the defensive, you have to participate in the attack when your team is on the offensive. You have to break down attacks and score goals, the majority of the play comes through you.

If you're a defender you can defend well and your team will still not win unles the engine, the central midfield are creating attacking chances for your attackers to score.

If you're an attacker you can score a hat-trick and still end up on the losing side if you have a weak midfield who let the opponents attack with ease and expose your rearguard.

Central midfield is for me, where the football game is won and lost. That is why its my favourite position.

Old skool, tough tackling Right-Back me, With the way football has gone in this country, with attacking full-backs and Central Defenders being played as Full-Backs if they're not tall enough to cut it as a central defender (see G.Neville) the art of true full-back play seems to have been lost.

I'm going to say my position obviously, the wing (the right one, in my case).

Simply because whilst you are a midfielder and therefore must help defend when necessary, when going forward you have much more licence to really attack.

That's why I scored 22 goals last season :-p

I'm going to predict most people will say just behind the front two in that attacking midfield position. I know thats my choice.

in 11 a side i play combative centre midfield. Love going in for the challenge again and again! also a lot of options on where to direct the ball and allows far more influence.

Usually play upfront in 5 a side.

Basically I play wing-back. Don't play 11-a-side, just 5 or 6 a-side, so wing backs are the key :)

My favourite position would have to be the 'Doggy'

Oh ... and in football ... bent over in front of Wayne Rooney - get in there!
