Off to see movie tomorrow with my girlfriend thing, horror is the genre at hand.

So,

Ring 2 or The Amityville Horror?

Anyone seen either, whatever, choose for me. I want to look organised.

Amityville looks quite good.......

But then again so does the Ring 2 Hmmmmmmmmm........

Amittyville because good old haunted house films pwon stupid films about scary children.

I don't know how good the remake is but I'm sure it's better than the sequel to that stupid Ring film.

I'd now suggest that you stay in with your lady.
Ring 2 is on Channel 4 tonight - so you save money and its good Japanese original. I also suggest you watch the film from a bed, to keep each other warm.

Ring 2 they have changed the story from the japanese version alot and is basically a different film. Not too surprised like with the american Ring then made a mess of the story.

But back to the question probably Ring 2 as i haven't heard of the other one.

I just hope they don't butcher Ring Zero by making another Ring film after Ring 2

Ring 2 is apparently really good (if your a fan of the series).

Don't really know anything about Amityville.

I'd go Ring 2. Just to see if they messed up the remake or not :)

Sometimes they triumph though. Shrek 2, Godfather part II and Die hard wit ha vengeance all better than originals.

Amityville (the original) doesn't feature the usual cinematic elements that today's films do. No fancy special effects or anything like that. It's just telling a story about a family who bought this haunted house with a morbid history (one that is "supposedly" true).

And anyway...I've always been funky about sequels. I won't watch them. :)

Both look good, I'll take both of em.
