Looking at this and being a kop-out for all Apple accessories, I wanted the Airport to connect to the net wirelessly. But with the Apple site not being very helpful, just seeing what else I need to use this for the internet
You'll need an Airport card for your Mac.
For broadband you'll need either a wireless router or a wired router with an Airport Extreme or Airport Express base station. For dial-up you'll need an Airport Extreme base station with a built-in modem.
