Need some sort of randomiser then, a single click randomly placed during ten minute intervals maybe.

It never says that for me.
Do automatic click programmes harm the site?
Automatic click programmes are a real problem. All websites of this nature are prone to hackers creating programmes to click automatically. This becomes very obvious when the click total suddenly increases.
Administrators have to discount those clicks, some of which may be genuine, in order to preserve the site's integrity. In the long run, if hackers persistently target sites such as aquaplastics, the future of 'click to give' promotions will be jeopardised and this will have an adverse effect on WaterAid's income.
