It's excellent.
Though, speakers are a bit naff and whenever I restart it crashes. Apart from that it runs great. I'll probably phone Acer and tell them about the crashing but enjoying it too much to send back just now.

Yer, it has twice as many pixel pipelines, so when games get really intensive the 9700 will seize up and die far more easily. I'm just saying the difference isn't that much in current games.

Also, the mobile 9700 is a lot less to it's desktop counterpart than the x700 is.

If you want an X800 then you're looking a heavy beast with no battery life.

Ah, whatever.
It was double vertical shading or something.
I know the mobile version isn't as good.

Stop ruining it you git.

I think your "double" figure may be slightly exaggerated.

Plus the mobile version isn't as powerful as the desktop.

No, it's fixed.
X700 is pretty damn good, double the performance of a 9700. I was going to wait till more came out but couldn't be bothered.

Yes, I have a disk for Windows.
It's just restarting... the monitor goes all weird.

Could be a Windows problem?

Try re-installing Windows (did they give you an installation CD?)

Oooohhh, very nice.

Has it got an expansion for future graphics or is it fixed?
