When you talk about a countries bureaucracy and civil service, it means the instututions responsible for catering for the needs of the public doesn't it?
These areas are almost always government controlled, right?
If correct, would the following areas be encompassed by bureaucracy:
- City councils
- Local councils
- District jurisdictions
- The courts
- The police
[Anything else?]
I'll give you the context I'm needing this for. The Nazi takeover of the civil service of Germany between 1935 and 1939. I just need examples of what they took over really, and my textbook is rather lame.
