...... Steve Gibson has called a press conference to announce that Bryan Robson has been given the job of car park manager at the Riverside Stadium. Gibson said "Bryan's record has been outstanding since he came to the club. He has the respect of the players here and I am sure they will respond to his car park instructions. Some of the younger players will benefit from having such an experienced manager in charge of the car park, I am sure their parking skills will blossom under Robson's guidance."

Bryan Robson said "This is a really exciting opportunity for me. I honestly believe this car park is going places. I have a four year contract and in that time I intend to make this car park one of the best in the premier league. Steve Gibson has given me a nice, bright orange jacket to wear and I can't thank him enough."

It was also confirmed that Viv Anderson would remain at the club in the capacity of Assistant Car Park Manager. Gordan McQueen will be the new office cleaner.

Haha! Bryan Robson is a very happy looking chap isn't he, all the stress and worry of being the car park manager - but to be honest, he hasn't really done a great deal has he? Steve McLaren leaving United will definately have a negative effect at Manchester United, more so than than the departure if Brian 'should never be a manager ever again' Kidd!

Well, Bryan Robson, he drove out Terry didn't he, so he could cop the blame for Boro's relegation next season, just to get people feeling sorry for him!!

Steve Mclaren has agreed terms with Boro. I wonder if that includes giving him the power to sack Robson and co.

Boro should have appointed Souness when he was available about a year ago.

He was very much my hero as a footballer and always will be but as a manager I have no respect. He would have succeeded had he just got in proper coaching staff instead of employing his drinkin' buddies........his loss
