Oh, that was the alternate sci-fi series Gene Rodenberry (sp?) came up with (but didn't put it to TV).

Can't say I ever enjoyed an episode.

Oh I saw that. Like, once ...
It's like a terrible, terrible version of Enterprise ... which is not really something to be aiming towards anyway. And then they tried to SG-1 it a bit. Which is impossible for any other than the source.
