Okay, I've been trying to get on MSN for a few days now and everytime I try it says something about not working because of Norton Anti Virus software thing so can anyone help me or tell me what I have to do cause I haven't got a clue.
What version of MSN? Using a router?
The reason I ask is that I have a router and if you turn it on before the PC has started up, Norton Interent Security has a problem activating the firewall properly for some reason. Works a treat if you let the PC load first then turn the router on.
The new MSN beta version was a problem for me once I installed it. If you're having the same problem as me you need to do the following:
Tools > Options > Connection > Advanced Settings...
Make sure all details are deleted and there are 0 (zeros) entered into each of the 'ports'.
This worked for me, if it dont for you I've been talking jibberish for the past few minutes ;)

For some reason it wont let me turn on Internet Security, everytime I click on Turn on/Enable it just doesn't do anything. So I can configure my Personal Firewall but it wont be enabled until I turn on the Internet Security, which wont work.

Anyway it's most likely Norton Internet Security, because it is crap it thinks MSN is baaad. So open it up (small green globe on your icon tray, bottom right) click on "You Personal Firewall" and click "Configure". Work the rest out, you just need to tell it to like MSN.
