Some SPOILERS!

Alien Vs Predator - Better than I expected, the battles between Alien and Predator were quite impressive, but towards the end the it just looked to me as though they ran out of ideas and rushed it. I'm still not happy with a Predator making friends with a Human. I also didn't like the fact it was set in an ever changing labyrinth. This gave it a silly confusing edge - at parts you just have no idea where these people are or what is going on, this was clearly just so that aliens could jump out from anywhere. The bits where it showed the Predators point of view were actually WORSE than the original films. Overall it didn't completely destroy my faith in the continuation of the series, but it was very average.

The Incredibles - Not something I'd usually watch, but glad I did. Highly entertaining for the most part and a welcome change from what I'm used to.

City of God - Surprisingly good. Being a philistine I don't watch many foreign subtitled films, but of all those I have, this was the best. Want to watch it again ASAP.

Layer Cake - Excellent, although not featuring the fast paced humour of other greats such as Lock Stock or Snatch. Still recommended.

What was Jak-Jak's actual super hero strength? Is it that he could change his body from being made of one material to another or some thing?

:^) I had to rewind the pen pot part after wondering what it was falling off the desk. So detailed.
Also adore the expressions. The look on Helen's face when Dash is in the head teacher's office with that wild man.. is priceless! A look of "What the hell are you on?!" I pretty much repeated what you wrote, but y'know. :-) Agree with you.

I think Incredibles is the funniest of the Pixar films. It's a different type of humour, and often more subtle. It's very visually funny and has some priceless expressions and little details (the pot of pens falling off the desk).

Loved it.

I really must check out the Iron Giant. Although from what I remember seeing of it, it's a really different style

I think that's the one with the babysitter interview, but it's funny. Seemed to laugh at that more than in the movie. :^)
It's a little animation about what happens to the baby/babysitter while the family are away saving the world.

It should be : "I respect him for what he is, not what he does"

NOT : "Alright Preddy, me old cocksparra', knock us up an alien head shield and alien spine spear, will ya. Hey, you're alright, I don't care what they say about ya."

Layer Cake was superb. A nice change from the comical side of the London Gangsta scene that was seen in Lock Stock and Snatch. Well cast too.

Only seen The Incredibles out of them which I quite liked. It had a good story, but it didn't have as much humour as the likes of other Pixar animations like Monsters inc.

I want to see Layer Cake, I think my cousin has it, will borrow it off of him. Haven't heard of City of God, but it sounds okay. Never really liked the look of Alien vs. Predator though.
