The "Nintendo Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
Just something I found on IGN that might be of interest.
You'll see the consoles themselves on the front of magazines, fanboys will cream over pages of specs, and everyone else will want to see videos.
Very few people will actually play the demos ... if there are any.
And reading about it isn't very interesting.

Yup.
I wouldn't expect any more at this stage.
A fully made console + the controller + a substantial, working demo this long before release seems a hell of a lot to ask for. I think some tech demos is probably the best to hope for.
As long as they actually show the design of the console - and a solid, real, model of it. Plus all the details and loads of movies, I'll be happy.
Just please, please, please, you idiot Iwata, please be joking about voice recognition. I'm dying over this one. He may as well start making Ninty's noose. Japan might, but the rest of the world does not like shouting stuff at a plastic box - and as a control method, it is totally void.
