Shiggsy reveals what he thinks about GAMECUBE...
Many things single out Shigeru Miyamoto as the world's greatest game creator. He created, Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid and many others. He is not the grumpy, stressed buisness man. He is the laughing, smiling, banjo player and autograph signer. Shiggsy is truly a god at the games and in real life. I have sent a few e-mails to him and he has responded, despite being th busy man he is. After all he is supervising 9 games at once. Here are the question that I have asked him, so I could give to you gamer guys out there...

Q 1: Will GAMECUBE have the same amazing leap that the N64 had?
A 1: Yes, or a least we hope so. Playing Mario 128 will probably be the same as you first experience with Super Mario 64.

Q 2: How long did you spend designing the GC's controller?
A 2: I have spent around about 3 years designing this controller. It's is the longest I have spent on a single controller. I had at least 40-50 designs before the final version.

Q 3: What developer do you most admire?
A 3: Rare. Rare make excellent games. They create games that many people have not seen before. That is what most game developers should concentrate on.

Q 4: Where do your ideas come from?
A 4: I always think what I like to think, and the kind of games I like to play. What is most important is th initial idea, then the morale of the people.

Q 5: Finally, what can we expect from the bug Nintendo characters?
A 5: We are working on the most popular characters, of course. The staff that created Lylat Wars are very keen to commence a new game, too. I don't want Nintendo to fully concetrate on just sequels, I want them to also concentrate on new characters.

Well there you have it, an interview with the man that started the Pokemon fad, the man that created the world's greatest game and the man that really knows how to make real magic shine.
