I must admit, I played Halo 2 for about 3-4 days after I bought it, didn't even complete because it didn't really bother me.

It's all about Half Life 2.

But PT owns Halo 2 anyway, so what's CT gonna do? :S

I went on Halo 2 on Live yesterday for the first time since January. It was so dull, it wasn't because people were shouting "N00b L337" everytime I died, the game was just incredibly tedious and dull.

I'll wait for the announcement later this week to see what the new content is, but unless it's something really special I have the feeling I'll be trading the game in very soon.

I can't believe how late they've left it though. After Splinter Cell comes out next week, I imagine I won't give much of a toss if they release new maps for Halo 2.

Apprently they're doing it because they want even the people who don't have Xbox Live to be able to get the content.

If it has a good number of new maps and maybe some new vehicles and a couple of new guns then maybe.

Still this is all speculation, wait till Bungies official announcement later in the week.
