And then we come to the games that have been rumoured:

Actually, Metroid isn't a sequel.

Zelda is actually a sequel. It is the sequel to Majora's Mask. Majora's Mask was was the sequel to Oot. And this game is when Ganon comes back, so basically it is the sequel. Mario is also a sequel. It is the sequel to Mario 64. Did you read the 64+64=-128? Metroid is a sequel aswell, although I don't know to which Metroid game...

Zelda nor Mario games are sequels, only the Metroid and Waverace games are.....
