A while ago one or two Freeola customers on here asked if they could be opted-out from anti-spam scanning.

We now have the facility to do this if it's manually requested so any Freeola customers still wishing to switch off scanning completely can place a request via the online support system...

Please remember to include the e-mail address(es) to be opted out.

Your filter is great, I wish it was in place a couple of years back, when i think of the 100s of emails each week which were SPAM.. grrrrr. :)

I used your ticket system on Friday requesting spam 'opt-out' for some accounts (ticket 119973) I've just sent the same request to your opt-out address as I've not heard anything yet.

As a quicker alternative to raising a support ticket, you can email [email protected] and we'll remove the filter from your account.

Please bear in mind that this address isn't for technical or customer support, any such queries should be sent through our online ticket system.

I have to say the spam filter is working great, and has caught almost everything that is spam, and as of yet has not held back any legitimate email, so well done on that one.

We're converging Freeola and Get Dotted at the moment so that you have a single admin system (Your Freeola Settings) for ALL your Freeola accounts and domain names (inc. DNS changes). It'll also be very closely linked to the SR system as well.

It's a difficult path to join all this up but I think we're getting there, expect some progress soon.

How can I change the DNS on my domains? I'm pretty sure Freeola said something about being able to do it via the control panel now?

I'm not gonna fax it to Freeola though, because last time that took them a week to do anything. By that time I'd got mega annoyed and had sent another fax telling them not to bother!

AHA, found it. It's got nothing to do with the control panel, that's where I was getting confused...

Thanks Danny - that's just what I was asking for.

I maintain a number of freeola hosted sites and I have one company that believes they are missing emails. I can now give them the opportunity to opt out, which should keep everyone happy.
