In my humble opinion you should go find some socks that fit.
You obviously haven't a clue about mp3 or anything along that lines, do you?
Mp3 is the third layer of an Mpeg track which is basicaly the audio bit. So Mp4 wil not be the succesor to Mp3. Since the Mp3 format came to use, they have already worked on several other formats of it, quite a few already released. Apple's AAC format encoding is roughly what you are thinking to be Mp4 as it is really just a standardised locked version of *.m4a.
Therefore, expect no such thing as Mp4.
