Saw this interview last night on TWC and well after watching it all the things i've read about him are pretty much true. Taking credit for the rise of WWF in the attitude era (even though that whole gimmick was pretty much stolen from ECW) Taking credit for Austin's enormous success, trying to actually give a valid reason why Arquette and himself ever held a world title and wiping his hands free of the demise of WCW. (The interviewer never got round to asking him why he had so many women on the roster at one point but i would have liked to hear his reponse to that)

Pretty much what i expected, scummy New Yorker :-D

Oh yes he deserves some credit but the way he was talking you'd think no one had ever done the whole Attitude thing (even though ECW had been doing it for the previous 4 or so years) and coming off as taking full credit for Austin's rise talking as if he was the first to notice his talents even though Heyman in ECW had given him the mic way before Stone Cold was even thought of

Pretty harsh there, Kawada.
Of course he must be given some of the credit for the attitude era and Austin's rise, since he was head of WWE(F)'s writing team at the time.
He's as arrogant as they come, but still, give credit where credit's due.

Although Russo is nowhere near his level, like Bischoff, he is rather under appreciated by most.
