I like the sound of the Dell XPS but it looks well 2 expensieve.

Which is most likely not a shop-built one.

2, why stop there? My dream PC (I put together a shopping cart for it about once a month) has 4 RAIDed 74.4GB raptors.

Anyway, to get the best gaming pc, as people have said you are going to have to build it yourself. Otherwise I would go for an Alienware, Scan or Savrow (Savrows are sweet PCs) pc.

How so? RAID arrays exist primarily for reliability, not so much for speed.
